If I were asked to describe this blog using a visual, then this one would be more than ideal as it combines perfectly the three major sources of inspiration (and posts): typography, photography and architecture.
I became a bit obsessed with this exhibition ever since I came across its poster, mostly because I was immediately drawn to the scenery in the image, a facility located in the Geiranger-Trollstigen tourist route in western Norway. Also, the idea of visiting the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in northern Copenhagen for an exhibition about the presence of a Nordic identity in Scandinavian architecture, was making me feel like being part of something I was really interested in.
I’m not sure how this visual fits in the promotion of the show, but it’s definitely sleek and bold. The black copy contrasts the whiteness of the snow perfectly, making it look like it’s backlit and creating a strong visual language appropriate for the exhibition.
