There is something in the right combination of pictures and typography that can create visuals that are inviting and captivating. It seems that I’m addicted to it, since the minute I see a photograph I start thinking of an appropriate text or message to add on it and in what font. Combine that with my movie trailers craze and you have an idea for a new blog, that would feature stills from trailers that use typography for the titles or reviews. The one shown here is a perfect example: taken from Julia Leigh’s Sleeping Beauty, it’s striking in every way: the photography, the color palette, the bold typography. I come across more and more trailers/visuals like this, but I’m not sure if I should make them part of this blog or start a new one. I guess it depends on the reactions this post gets [hint-hint!]. Let me know what you think and I hope you enjoy it.
